Restore and support your sailing skills

Sailing practice on Bavaria 42 in Boka Kotorska is a calm, structured way to return to the wheel, regain confidence and keep your skills alive. We work with real situations in the bay: tight maneuvers, mooring, reefing, sail trim and crew coordination.

You can join after a break in sailing or combine practice with a relaxed day on the water. We’ll adapt the program to your level: from basic handling of a cruising yacht to confident coastal passages and manoeuvres in the marina.

What we are sailing on

Bavaria 42 Match

Bavaria 42 Match is a fast cruiser-racer: comfortable enough for a relaxed day in the bay, honest and responsive enough to work on real handling skills. Big wheel, powerful sails and clear feedback from the boat help you feel every decision on the helm.

During practice we work on tacking and gybing a 40+ ft yacht, reefing, docking, man-overboard maneuvers and safe coastal passages. Perfect for refreshing skills before charter, preparing for skipper license or simply keeping your hands “warm”.

FAQ

Is this practice suitable if I’m a bit rusty after a long break?
Yes. The format is designed exactly for that: we begin with a calm briefing and simple manoeuvres, then gradually add more tasks. You choose how active you want the day to be.
How many people are on board?
Usually up to 6–8 guests plus the skipper. For a private crew or family we can organise a closed practice day just for your group.
Can we focus on something specific — docking, MOB, night sailing?
Yes. Tell us what you want to work on when booking: mooring in marinas, man-overboard drills, reefing, navigation or preparing for a future bareboat charter.
